So, If you are a senior professional from the automotive components industry looking to leverage your rich shopfloor and process experience in a consulting role, this ERP Consultant opportunity in Faridabad may be an excellent fit for you.

Our consulting team works closely with automotive Tier‑1 and Tier‑2 suppliers to improve their systems, documentation and customer ratings, and we are now looking to add an experienced domain expert to strengthen this initiative.

In this role, you will represent our consulting company during customer audits, surveillance audits and key customer visits at our client locations. You will act as the trusted advisor to our clients’ management teams, helping them align their day‑to‑day operations with good practices in Stores, Quality, Manufacturing and Bill of Material management.

Your focus will be on ensuring that processes, documentation and ERP usage reflect the standards expected by OEMs and other demanding customers in the automotive supply chain.

A typical engagement will involve understanding the client’s current SOPs, identifying gaps from an auditor’s or OEM customer’s perspective, and guiding the client’s teams on how to bridge these gaps practically.

You will work closely with storekeepers, production managers, quality managers and planning teams to help them streamline material movement, traceability, production reporting, in‑process quality controls and BOM‑related controls. Your experience of “what works” in a well‑run automotive plant will be crucial in giving realistic and implementable advice.

Training will be an important part of your work. You will conduct classroom and on‑the‑job training sessions for client teams on SOPs, documentation discipline and how these processes are captured in the ERP system. Many automotive suppliers struggle not because they lack software, but because they do not use it in a disciplined, process‑driven manner; your role will be to bridge this gap and make ERP a tool for better control, not just data entry.

The ideal candidate is someone with 20–25 years of experience in the automotive components industry, preferably in Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 companies, who has handled or closely worked with Stores, Production, Quality and BOM/Engineering teams. You should have hands‑on familiarity with at least one ERP system in a manufacturing setup and a natural inclination towards documentation, systems and process compliance. Strong communication skills, comfort in facing auditors and customers, and the ability to train junior staff are essential.

We are flexible on the engagement model and open to both full‑time and part‑time arrangements, making this role suitable for senior professionals who may be nearing retirement or have recently retired but wish to remain professionally active. The position is based out of Faridabad, and residence in or near Faridabad is preferred to enable regular plant visits and close interaction with client teams. Compensation can go up to ₹1,00,000 per month depending on your experience, profile and agreed time commitment.

If you see yourself guiding automotive suppliers to strengthen their processes, improve their ERP usage and achieve better customer ratings, we invite you to apply for this ERP Consultant role and be part of our consulting journey.
