| How We Started |
Our Founder Mr M L Gupta started his career with the International Giant IBM. Post Qualification from SRCC, and as a CA, all India Topper, he was posted at their South Asia HeadQuarters in New Delhi.
He was working on the Mainframe computers of 1970’s.
So, working on Data, Computers, creation of Softwares got into our Blood.
Thereafter even at the Hindustan Unilever Group companies, Mr M L Gupta, headed the IT Cell apart from the Accounts/Finance Departments. This included dabbling in making the Software himself using the GWBASIC etc.
Then, in 1987, he started on his own.
The Brand Finsys was born in 1991.
1991 : First commercial order for invoicing and accounts and inventory ( ERP was born ).. this was the time when Hard Disks were still not used in PC’s in India …. We were working on 5 inch floppies.
1995 : First ERP for Multi State, Multi Factory set up started. This was when, Internet connectivity was next to zero.
1996 : Windows 95 was started to be used in India. Finsys App started as icon on Windows
1996 : First PPC module including yield and productivity.
1997 : First Window based Payroll package integrated into ERP
1999 : First large MNC ( Rs 100 crore plus ) with HO in JAPAN chose Finsys.
2000 : First Finsys implementation for Corrugation Packaging started
2001 : First Finsys ERP implementation outside of NCR Delhi
2005 : First Finsys implementation in Mumbai-Pune Zone, in Gujarat and in Banglore
2006 : First Finsys implementation in first Warehouse in USA, via Remote
2009 : Finsys ERP reached 40 cities in India
2011 : Finsys ERP started for a Factory client in Dubai, via Remote
2015 : Finsys ERP participates in International PLAST-INDIA 2015 at Gandhinagar. Installations count crossed 300
📈 The Digital Acceleration: Finsys ERP (2015 – Present)
The period following 2015 marked a rapid acceleration in digital technology, driven by the global shift towards Industry 4.0, cloud computing, and advanced analytics. Finsys, with its foundational strength in data integrity and manufacturing processes, was perfectly positioned to lead this transition.
2016 – 2018: Embracing Mobility and Cloud: Recognizing the growing need for real-time shop floor visibility and executive access on the move, Finsys launched its first native mobile applications. These apps provided managers and owners with instant dashboards for production, inventory, and cash flow—a key step in moving away from reactive reporting to proactive decision-making. This period also saw significant efforts to refine our deployment model, enabling faster, more scalable cloud-hosted solutions. Added 100+ clients
2019 – 2021: Industry 4.0 and Deep Integration: As clients demanded machine-to-ERP integration, Finsys doubled down on its commitment to the Internet of Things (IoT) for manufacturing. We developed advanced connectors for automated data capture from CNC machines and production lines, eliminating manual data entry and ensuring zero-error yield and productivity tracking. This allowed clients to achieve true Job-Wise Profitability with unprecedented accuracy. Our specialization in complex, thin-margin industries (like Corrugation and Plastics) deepened, driving installations past the 500 mark.
2022 – 2024: Analytics and Statutory Automation: The focus shifted entirely to advanced analytics. Finsys introduced powerful, customizable Business Intelligence (BI) tools integrated directly within the ERP, allowing CFOs to forecast demand, model capacity, and identify root causes of cost overruns in minutes, not months. Simultaneously, we automated complex Indian statutory requirements (including advanced GST reconciliation and E-invoicing), ensuring our clients remained audit-proof and compliant in an increasingly complex regulatory environment.
