Recently, Mr. Prakash Nahata, Founder and Director of Yash Packers (Mumbai & Vapi), shared his inspiring journey of implementing Finsys ERP. Initially, management relied on verbal reports or delayed Excel updates. However, with the Finsys Mobile App, Mr. Nahata now has “everything on his fingertips.” Whether he is in Mumbai or traveling, he can monitor the current situation without asking for manual reports. Consequently, the era of “I’ll give you the report tomorrow” is officially over at Yash Packers.
Admittedly, managing over 200 items in a corrugation store is a daunting task. To solve this, Yash Packers implemented:
Live Reel Ageing: The system automatically tracks how long each Kraft paper reel has been in the store. As a result, the team can ensure “First-In-First-Out” (FIFO) and prevent raw material degradation.
Minimum Stock Alerts: Notably, once a stock level (like ink or glue) drops below the threshold, the system triggers an automatic re-order alert. This eliminates manual intervention and prevents production halts.
Empty Drum Accountability: Furthermore, even the empty ink drums are now tracked and monetized or reused, ensuring zero pillerage and better scrap management.
Typically, many factories only know their FG stock at the end of the day or the next morning. On the contrary, Yash Packers now operates in real-time. As soon as the production entry is made from the machine, the FG stock is added. When the sale is made, it is automatically deducted. Indeed, this “Live FG” status allows the sales team to commit to orders with 100% confidence.
According to Mr. Nahata, the decision to implement Finsys came after a significant manual error where 4,000 extra boxes were manufactured due to a lack of real-time coordination. He selected Finsys because:

Automation: It provides automated SMS and Email alerts for collections, dispatches, and inventory.
Scalability: It supports the growth of an automatic corrugation plant with batch-level traceability.
