Item Master’s Cautions

 

 

Make your item master not only healthy but presentable also with your finsys by taking some cautions while creating new item master.

First decide in which main group the given sub-head will fall while creating item master like is it raw material or BOP or finished good or self manufactured item or outsource item.

You can also group it by metallurgy as if is a ferrous item or non- ferrous item, plastic parts or rubber parts.

This all will give you a presentable reports in which all items are duly grouped.

Involve your best people from manufacturing and store while creating item master on HOD level.

You can control this in web finsys by item approval. In other words you can’t make PR, sales order & purchase order against that item without the approval of a senior.
