Applicable for : We have focussed on the Finsys ERP Customers. www.finsys.co.in. The Same solution might be applicable in other conditions also, Yet we are concerned very closely for the data safety of our ERP Customers, Hence this Focus.

First, a word of Caution : There is no 100% Perfect Solution. And Risk is always there. Even NASA, and the Topmost sites of the world are sometimes hacked. So, In some solutions, risk is 10%, some 1% , and some 0.00001%. So, Plan B should also be there. Always.

Backup : Responsibility of the “Client Team”

Your Team Must Take Backup
Must Keep it Safely at Factory location in a Second Computer ( That is Free*, no extra cost ).
+ Must keep its copy on a Google Cloud ( That is Free*, too. )
+ Must Keep its additional copy on another cloud say Microsoft Cloud, ( That is Free* Again )

+ Make a manual register, Call it Backup Monitoring Register. ( That is Free* Again )
One person must do the above, and Sign on that Register with date and time.
+ A Second person, say Plant Head / Accounts HOD / EA to MD, must physically see with his own eyes that backup has been Saved and kept at a protected area, as above + Sign on that register.

The Restoring of Backup on a New Cloud Server is just a 20 minute to 80 minute exercise.

We, at Finsys, largely assure you, to be, up and running, even after a bad Virus attack, if you can follow the above very simple Backup policy.

We Give Highest rank to Oracle Solution

No Windows — They use Linux
Not ordinary Linux – They use their own Oracle Linux
No OS – they are not giving OS to you, they are giving Database as a Service. So, they maintain the OS, and they maintain the Oracle Database. BOTH
Backup – They have their own Backup solution also, which is an Incremental Backup System
System will take its own backup. Show you on the control panel. And gives you option to restore a particular stage of backup on a new Oracle Cloud Machine, on press of a Button.
No Separate Data Farm. They Own their Data-Farm
No Need of Anti Virus. They manage that themselves.

Amazon Web Server

Fact is Amazon is also a big solution provider. HUGE. They have the biggest share from amongst Finsys ERP customers as of now. However they give a seperate Windows Machine usually

you have to pay for Oracle Cloud Database separately. for Windows also, for Backup also and for Anti Virus also, and for Backup policy also.

Still they are good, and as of now, no ransomeware news on any of the 100+ Finsys customers
